As a Professional Team Player I Will:
- Support the policies of the practice and do my best to make them work.
- Support all others in the practice to accomplish our practice goals and keep communication open.
- Devote my full attention to the patients we serve, and do my best to provide the finest in service and care to each patient treated in our practice.
- Handle telephone calls and other personal business at a time that does not interfere with patient care.
- Be on time for staff meetings and fully participate.
- Handle any complaints I may have by communicating them to the person who can do something about the situation. I will not criticize or complain to someone who cannot take action to improve the situation. I will not receive or listen to any complaints that I cannot do something about. Instead I will redirect that person to someone who can do something about his or her concern.
- Be a problem solver, not a problem giver.
- Tell others of their outstanding efforts by verbally praising our patients, the doctor and my other team members.
- Present myself in the physical condition to function effectively, that is, to be well rested, alert, properly nourished, neat, in uniform, and an example to others of a true professional.
- Develop my capabilities and skills to meet changing needs by keeping my continuing education current.
- Take time to plan and then follow with action.
- Ask for help when I need it.
- Be an efficient manager of my time.
- Keep my word.
- Accept responsibility for my actions.
- Encourage and support each of our patients in their treatment.
- Provide an ongoing environment that is consistent with our purpose and our goals for each individual who seeks care in our office.
- Promote good health, good appearance, and well being to each person with whom I come into contact.
- Create a greater awareness for those around me of the importance of obtaining and maintaining good oral health and well being.
